The Field Of Dreams
You have heard the saying, "If you build it, they will come." That is precisely what Duane and Heidi Piper have done. Married in 1976, they were given a five acre corn field by Duane's parents. What they have done with that corn field is simply outstanding. Not only have they built a training facility and close knit family, they have built a legacy as well.
Duane and Heidi have transformed the once corn field into a massive training facility that boasts some of the best horses in the nation. With 60 stalls, two large riding arenas, a walker, a round pen, and several pastures, developing champions happens everyday.
Their success in the show arena, began in 1990 when they trained their first World Champion. Since then, they have been fortunate enough to have had three more World Champions as well as numerous Congress Champions, Top Ten's and Finalists. As if that isn't enough, the Piper's have had a horse in the top ten in the Nation every year since 1990.
The Piper's have been blessed with several joys in their personal lives as well. With the birth of Chad in 1981 and Dawn in 1984, their personal lives have been full with family values and hard work. After several years of success showing in the youth and amateur arena, Chad and Dawn have both followed in their parents footsteps and have become professional trainers. As their children have grown, so has their family.

Brian & Dawn Baker
Dawn has ridden and shown horses all her life. In fact, she rode her first horse when she was still in diapers. Growing up Dawn showed such horses as Only Worthy, Im Tuff By Choice and Sonnys Sweet Jazz. With them she attained several AQHA High Points and Congress Championships. She even found time to win a few Youth World titles and the prestigious AQHA All-Around Youth Award. She graduated from high school in 2003. While showing as an amateur, Dawn showed Hey Monn to several futurity wins and was named World Champion in 2005. After her success as a non pro, she decided to give up her amateur card in 2006.
Brian spent his early years on a small farm near Jasper, Missouri. In grade school he moved to nearby Joplin and attended Carl Juntion schools where he graduated high school in 1994. He earned two associate degrees from Rodgers University in Clairmore, Oklahoma before receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from Texas A & M University in 2000. Following his studies, he worked as an associate trainer with Jay Jordan Quarter Horses for three years, then with Gil Galyean Quarter Horses for the following three years.
When Brian and Dawn first started dating, it was obvious that together they made a perfect partnership. Married in May 2007, Brian and Dawn have already proven they are a force to be reckon with. They welcomed their first child, Bradley Winters, in September 2008. Watch for them as they work to create the future hall of famers of the Quarter Horse Industry.
